Around the world in the Democratic Republic of Congo, especially in Mbuji-Mayi, the diamond capital where at least 48 percent of he wold wide diamonds are produced, children from ages eight and up are making shift to attend school. Also some of them are being used in multiple diamond mines for less than one dollar a day.

Education is the least on the priority list of the government that is busy fighting rebels in this 10 years civil war unrest.

The Childen of Congo Foundation is looking for your help in sponsoring one or more of the multiple projects in order to fulfill the educational goal established to overcome illiteracy in this region.
